Each year we evaluate where the federal government can support carbon removal and help our member companies scale in the United States. For FY27, we recommended continuing our support for carbon removal RD&D and enhanced rock weathering research, as well as expanding the EMRTAI program to allow for carbon removal remediation activities on mine sites.
